Public call for citizens who would like to settle their residential issues through “Thousand Plus” Project will be finished today. Around 957 requests have been delivered to the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism.
Vouchers will be issued starting from October.
Marko Mirović, representative of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, said that the first vouchers will be given to priority groups – single parents and keepers, disabled persons or households whose member is a disabled person, households with children with disabilities, young people who were children deprived of parental care and victims of domestic violence.
Ministry reports that over 1.200 citizens will settle their residential issues.
The project value amounts 20 million EUR. The Government provided 10 million EUR through the Council of Europe Development Bank, whereas the remaining ten million are participated by the five commercial banks which take part in this project.
Apartments in eight municipalities are in the offer.
