Montenegrin media published yesterday that a body of Jovo Jovanovic was found on Pastrovska hill, and that his family reported his disappearance two days ago.
The police gave a short statement that they’re working on solving the case and that Jovanovic’s body was sent to autopsy.
„Police department in Budva was notified yesterday around 10:40 am that in a place Pastrovska hill there’s a parked car “Renault Scenic” with BD license plates in which there’s a lifeless body of Jovo Jovanovic”, it as said from the Police directorate.
After that police went to the crime scene and did an investigation which was led by the deputy of the Higher prosecutor in Podgorica.
The investigation showed that Jovanovic had wounds from fire weapon.
„From the scene clues were sent to Forensic center for expertise”, it is written in the announcement of the Police directorate.
After the results of the autopsy came, considering all the facts the prosecutor declared the criminal act a murder.
„Police officials are intensively working on solving the case and identifying the perpetrators of this criminal act”, it was concluded in Police directorate.
