The average gross earnings in August 2022 in Montenegro amounted to €886, while the average earnings exclusive of taxes and contributions (net) amounted to €718, according to the MONSTAT Statistical Office.
“The average (net) salary in August 2022 compared to July 2022 recorded an increase of 0.6%, while the average (net) salary in August 2022 compared to the same month of the previous year recorded a growth of 35%”, MONSTAT says.
If it is taken into account that consumer prices in August 2022 compared to July 2022 recorded a growth of 0.2%, it follows that real wages for the same period recorded a 0.4% growth.
