The average September electricity bill for households in Montenegro (excluding those temporarily occupied) was €28.74, reports the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG).
Total household consumption was 87,426,128 KWh – a 29.6% drop compared with August, and 0.5% lower than September of last year.
Zabljak averaged the lowest consumption of €20.89, and Ulcinj registered the highest average of €36.65.
The percentage of consumers with electricity bills over €150 was 0.65%, and with bills ranging between €100 and €150 was 0.94%.
As many as 183,587 households, or 54.1% of consumers, will receive the discount for regularly paying customers.
EPCG calls to mind that the company will launch the fifth round of the Let’s Share the Burden campaign as of 1 November.
All households with electricity debt regardless of its amount, as well as those whose previously signed protocols expire these days will be able to join the campaign, EPCG stated. It allows households with accumulated electricity debt to pay it in €20 monthly instalments.
