The average (gross) salary in October 2023 in Montenegro was €1,002, while the average salary without taxes and contributions (net) was €803. Average (net) salary in October compared to September recorded an increase of 0.4%, while the average (net) salary in October, compared to the same month of the previous year, recorded an increase of 11.5%, according to the MONSTAT Statistical Office.
“If it is taken into account that consumer prices in October compared to September recorded a drop of 0.3%, it follows that real earnings for the same period recorded a growth of 0.7%”, MONSTAT explains.
