The average salary (gross) in September 2021 in Montenegro was €796, while the average salary without taxes and contributions (net) was €533. The average (net) salary in September compared to August recorded a growth of 0.2%, while the average (net) salary in September 2021 compared to the same month last year recorded a growth of 1.7%, the MONSTAT Statistical Office has announced.
If we keep in mind that consumer prices in September 2021, compared to August 2021, recorded a growth of 0.5%, it follows that real wages in the same period recorded a 0.3% drop.
