The Tax Administration will submit an initiative to the Commercial Court to launch bankruptcy proceedings with another three taxpayers: Izbor Bar doo, Blue Moon Podgorica doo and Montepesca Podgorica doo . The decision on tax debt reschedule in the case of the Rain Management – Spatial Hygiene Podgorica doo, which did not pay a one-time payment under the reschedule – will be abolished. Bankruptcy proceedings in the company will be initiated after legal requirements and legally prescribed deadlines are met.
In the case of the first three aforementioned taxpayers, reschedule plans were adopted in the bankruptcy proceedings. Since the taxpayers did not obey the dynamics of settling tax liabilities defined by the plans, the conditions for initiating bankruptcy were met in accordance with the Law. The total tax debt of these taxpayers amounts €889,297.29, with outstanding debts amounting to €799,662.00 as follows:
– Izbor Bar, doo – amount of overdue and unpaid liabilities: €748,751.00,
– Blue Moon Podgorica, doo – amount of overdue and unpaid liabilities: €38,416.76,
– Montepesca Podgorica, doo – amount of overdue and unpaid liabilities: €12,494.24.
Taxpayer Rain Management – Spatial Hygiene Podgorica doo is also in the process of reorganisation, and according to the plan, its total tax liability amounted to €112,251.85. The company applied for €107,440.09 tax debt reschedule. However, this taxpayer failed to make €10,744.01 one-time payment within the prescribed deadline. Therefore, the decision on the reschedule will be abolished and then bankruptcy proceedings will be initiated.
The Tax Administration initially initiated bankruptcy proceedings with 8 taxpayers, including AD Radoje Dakic Podgorica and Ave Maria Koljcevic doo Podgorica. The bankruptcy proceeding at Sindcel Niksic doo (also initiated by the Tax Administration), has been successfully completed by selling the property of the tax debtor and collecting its tax debt.
