Conversion (the process of converting other currencies into euro and vice versa) is charged in two ways- through a commission and through internal course which is formed by banks every day and which is higher than the course of the Central Bank. At the same time it is the reference course of the European Central Bank.
Eight banks charge the exchange activities through internal course, whereas other banks charge commission.
The oldest is the price list of the Zirat Bank that has had the same tariffs since 2015.
Montenegrin Commercial Bank charges the conversion of up to €20.000 through internal course, except for the Australian dollar and Swiss franc, where the limit is €5.000. For a conversion higher than €20.000 the commission amounts 1%.
SGM bank adopted its price list on 11 May this year and according to it, they change the currency free of charge.
NLB price list came into force in October last year. Exchange activities are charged through a course, just like Erste Bank and Addiko Bank.
Price list of the Universal Capital Bank has been valid since June of the current year. This bank performs exchange activities through purchase and sales course.
Hipotekarna Bank charges the exchange activities – 2% and 1% for the conversion from the clients’ accounts. 2% commission is charged in Commercial Bank too.
Lovćen Bank performs exchange activities free of charge, same as Zapad bank and Nova bank.
