Prime Minister Dusko Markovic laid the foundation stone for the construction of the ETC chopping centre worth €3.5m in Bijelo Polje today. He said that the government remained committed to its priority – investing in the northern region of our country.

“I am pleased to say that today in Bijelo Polje we marked the beginning of a new and important investment for Bijelo Polje. It is 3.5m worth and will provide 100 new jobs. I really express my gratitude to the company management, especially the owner of the ELKOS Group, Ramiz Kelmendi, for his business decision to start this investment in Bijelo Polje. He added that along with its already built facility in Rozaje, the company contributed not only to the development of Bijelo Polje, but also to the development of Montenegro and growth of its economy,” Markovic said.

A total of 6,209sqm facility will employ 100 new workers, 60 in the retail sector, and 40 in business premises and as independent entrepreneurs. By the construction of the building, the abandoned part of the city, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the city centre, will be refurbished.
