Modernising and equipping the Armed Forces of Montenegro (VCG) is one of the priorities at this stage of Euro-Atlantic integration. A constant investing in this field is a prerequisite for adequate response to current security threats, said defence minister Predrag Boskovic who met Mohammed bin Ahmad Al Bawardi, UAE Minister of State for Defence Affairs.
“He pointed out that in the coming period the ministry would work intensively on equipping VCG in line with NATO standards,” the Ministry of Defence said in the statement.
During the meeting, the officials agreed that successful cooperation could be improved through cooperation in modernising and equipping VCG.
Minister Boskovic participates at the International Defence Exhibition IDEX held in Abu Dhabi, which is an ideal opportunity to consider current technological developments in the defence industry, as well as the ability to establish, and strengthen cooperation with international governmental agencies, companies and armed forces.
