Bosniaks’ invitation to DPS in Rožaje still pending

Establishing a governing coalition in all municipalities where the elections were held on 27 May is supposed to be completed soon. The ruling coalition will comprise the coalition partners – the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the Social Democrats (SD) and the Bosniak Party (BP).

It seems certain that the DPS and SD will manage to establish a governing coalition, as the DPS offered SD some positions in the capital despite their landslide victory. The SD will therefore return the favor and do the same in Plav.

Rožaje

However, we still don’t know what is going to happen with Rožaje since the BP still hasn’t invited the DPS to jointly create a formal coalition.

The DPS’s political director, Tarzna Milošević, told CdM that it’s up to the Bosniak Party to decide whether it’s going to establish a coalition with the DPS. “We haven’t offered ourselves and we are also ready to take full responsibility. It’s up to the Bosniak Party to make the decision. We shall see what will happen,” underlined Milošević.
