Brajović: We must put all differences aside

Ivan Brajović

Today’s session of the Collegium of the presidents will analyze current situation and imposed measures, as well as forthcoming activities, said Mr Ivan Brajović, president of Montenegro’s Parliament.

Mr Brajović couldn’t tell exactly when the MPs would be back to their parliament seats.

“Political parties are expected to put all differences aside. The most important task of MPs is this fight, fight against the greatest world health challenge”, Mr Brajović said.

Asked what will happen with the pending laws, Mr Brajović said the decision would be rendered when health danger was over.

He said that activities in the Parliament had been rationalized due to the coronavirus epidemic.

“Except for necessary stays on duty, the majority of the employees are now working from their homes. The Collegium had several sessions over the past few days. Session with the vice-president and ministers of health, economy, finance, labor and social welfare is scheduled for today. Current situation will be in focus of the analysis”, Mr Brajović said.

Plan of future activities and sessions of working bodies and plenums will be defined in accordance with the recommendations of the Institute for Public Health, Ministry of Health and other competent institutions.
