New Serb Democracy’s (NOVA) deputy leader Slaven Radunovic and Movement for Changes’ (PzP) deputy leader Branka Bosnjak are the most likely DF candidates for Podgorica mayor’s office.
Several Pobjeda’s sources from DF also said that another PzP deputy leader Branko Radulovic as well as Democratic People’s Party’s (DNP) leader Milan Knezevic were likely contenders too. It remains to be seen if the two of them would accept running for mayor.
It is currently unknown which of the four candidates has the best chance of being DF’s list leader in Podgorica elections.
A Pobjeda’s source said that DF saw Podgorica elections as crucial since the opposition had a good chance of winning. On the other hand, he called to mind PzP leader Nebojsa Medojevic’s statement that the opposition leaders would be defeated in presidential elections by DPS candidate, even if it was Soraja (controversial reality show star).
