Bosniak Party (BS) will not participate in the talks for the formation of the 44th Government, whose PM-designate is Miodrag Lekic, CdM learns.

In the past few days, BS has clearly announced that they do not want to be partners with those who are deliberately dragging Montenegro into international isolation.

This was announced by BS leader Ervin Ibrahimovic. The government, which is being formed contrary to the appeals of partners from the EU and the USA, does not have the support of BS.

“He who consciously diverts Montenegro from the European path and leads it towards a new international isolation cannot find a partner in the Bosniak Party, because the negative consequences of such a policy from 30 years ago are still strongly present in the social, political and economic life of Montenegro”, said Ibrahimovic.

The current parliamentary majority has decided to give Lekic the mandate to form the 44th Government, based on unconstitutional changes to the Law on the President, despite the appeals of international partners.
