Additional 3,000 apartments to be built by 2020

By the end of 2020, Montenegro will have more than 5,000 apartments built within the social housing programme. Currently, there are 2,000 residential units the construction of which has been completed, while in the next three years, more than 3,000 units will be built. This is included in the proposed social housing programme adopted by the government.

As stated in the document, these are apartments for displaced and internally displaced persons, then projects of the Montenegrin Solidarity Fund, employees in education sector (the Solidarno housing cooperative), employees in health care sector (the Zdravstvo housing cooperative), as well as the third phase of the government’s project of 1,000 plus apartments.
