In the forthcoming period, the Ministry of Economy along with the Pluzine Municipality will consider possible proposals for the Capital Budget, which would include certain infrastructure solutions necessary for business community, such as roads, electric grid, water and sewage, it was agreed at the meeting economy minister Dragica Sekulic held in Pluzine yesterday within the Business Caravan.
After meeting with mayor Mijusko Bajagic and businessmen, Sekulic said that greatest issue the business people faces in this town, particularly those engaged in tourism, is the lack of quality public infrastructure. Both the municipality and the state are in charge of the issue.
“Also, what we could hear from the representatives of Pluzine business community are complaints against quite high taxes and social welfare contributions. They also pointed to the fact that someone who works in Pluzine must be less competitive than someone who works on the Montenegrin coast if, of course, they pay equal taxes and contributions,” Sekulic said.
Minister Sekulic also visited the hydropower power plant (HE) Piva and discussed the company plans and issues with EPCG CEO Igor Noveljic, chairman of the board of directors Djoko Krivokapic and director of HE Piva Dragomir Blagojevic.
