The Tender Commission for granting concession for the right to use Podgorica and Tivat airports will give a five-day deadline to the Luxembourg-American company to submit additional documentation, its members decided at yesterday’s session, Pobjeda daily writes.
Corporación América Airports (CAAP) is one of the bidders in the concession procedure for the right to operate Podgorica and Tivat airports and is now obliged to submit an Excel file to the Tender Commission and show the bid they had sent in paper form.
Upon receiving the file, the Tender Commission with act accordingly.
After evaluating the financial bids, the Tender Commission will prepare a final report and send it to both the Ministry of Transport and the Government of Montenegro, which are to make a final decision.
The plan is to rent the airports for 30 years.
The tender process was announced in 2019.
