Cable car works in Cmiljača are going according to plan

Assemblage of the six-seat cable car in Cmiljača mountain ski resort in Bijelo Polje is going according to plan.

It’s contemporary equipment produced by Italian Leitner, whose  portfolio of cable cars is wide-ranging and innovative. After the public procurement procedure had been carried out, construction works on Cmiljača were delegated to “Novi Volvoks”, company from Podgorica.

Cable car, which is 1,4 km long, will have an estimated capacity of 2.600 per hour.

One of the more demanding segments of this project is construction of access road Ravna Rijeka- Latinska kosa- Jasikovac- Cmiljača, which is 16 km long. It’s going to connect mountain resort with the highway and make the resort more accessible to winter-tourism lovers.

Engineer team of the Public Works administration is simultaneously implementing the project of energy infrastructure construction for the purposes of the supply. First elements are expected to be finished by the end of this year.

Contract signed with “Eminent” LLC envisages construction of substation 35/10 KV in Majstorovina, Bijelo Polje. This investment is worth €1,18 million.

Total investment in putting the cable car into use, construction of energy and water supply infrastructure and access roads amounts to €23 million.
