It is a great pleasure to present the new young columnist of CdM, Dusan Pajovic, who addressed the public with a letter to the opposition. The left and the communists have a serious advantage now in the team of authors of CdM, we will have to strengthen this capitalist and liberal-conservative faction of CdM.

CANU vs. SPC?

In the organization of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (CANU), a lecture by Aleksej Kisjuhas on the clericalization of society was held in Podgorica.

After the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts’ false position of not taking sides, while holding hands with the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) all the time, CANU decided to make a turn and invited Aleksej Kisjuhas to hold a lecture on the clericalization of society and say something which would make a lot of people in Montenegro declared extremists, or, at best, we would be to blame for deepening divisions:

“St. Sava’s nationalism is a violently nationalistic, in some elements pro-fascist ideology, and Velimirovic himself advocated a class monarchy, it was said. Hitler can bring St. Sava’s Serbia to existance, claimed Velimirovic.”

It remains to be seen whether CANU has come to its senses and started to understand the situation we are in.

Djukanovic in Belgium

The President is visiting Belgium, where he met with the Belgian king and the Belgian prime minister.

As announced from his cabinet, Djukanovic was pleased with the meeting, which continued the high-quality dialogue between the two countries, and pointed to the long tradition of relations between Montenegro and Belgium, which is characterized by friendship and today’s alliance in NATO.

Djukanovic also met with representatives of the Montenegrin diaspora in Belgium.

Spajic meets Escobar

It’s a photo season with DAS (Deputy Assistant Secretary) Gabriel Escobar in front of the now well-known roll-up of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the US State Department. After the last visits of Vladimir Bozovic, the ambassador of who knows what, and in who knows what capacity, and the bishop of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, Boris Bojovic, now the uncrowned new leader of the Montenegrin opposition, Milojko Spajic, has been received in Washington. Dritan is no longer important, and that has already become clear to everyone.

Bail denied for Lazovic

The Criminal Panel of the High Court in Podgorica accepted the appeal of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office and decided that Petar Lazovic had to remain in custody. Last week, Suzana Mugosa, the judge for the investigation of the High Court in Podgorica, accepted the defendant’s proposal to terminate the detention of ANB officer Petar Lazovic with a €1m bail. After that, Special State Prosecutor’s Office filed an appeal.

Threats of rape and weapons are not a criminal offense

Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Kotor seems to say “Come on, make threats with rape and murder. It’s only €250 for your satisfaction”. The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Kotor rejected the criminal complaint filed by the Police Directorate against a certain Milos Djokic from Belgrade, who sent me the most heinous threats and insults. I seriously feel insecure and unsafe in the country where I was born and which I consider my home. It is obvious that there are first-class and second-class citizens for the system, and that such decisions allow thugs to curse, insult, and who knows, maybe even beat the scoundrel and the rogue.

That’s it for today. We wish you a pleasant rest of the day.

Kind regards,

Ljubomir Filipovic, CdM analyst
