Six accused persons and NLB Bank covered the loans of companies “Crisma Motors” and “Crisma Trade” instead of reviving the production of “Primorka” from Bar.
The accused abused their service in the business and damaged the state cash register in the amount of 6,6 million EUR. The indictment in this case charges six physical persons and one legal entity and it will be taken into consideration on October,5 , before High Court in Podgorica.
The first person accused in this case, Čedomir Mesarić, organized a crime group with the legal entity he managed at the time (NLB Bank) in order to make profit illegally. The remaining five persons joined the group.
Owner of “Crisma Motors”, Biljana Bošković signed the plea agreement and, therefore, got six months of home prison and she was also punished by a fine.
The guarantee provided by the Government of Montenegro, funds and the loan of NLB bank should have been used for the revival of the production of “Primorka”, which includes factory of olive oil, factory for the production of bread and bakery products, plant for frozen pastry, factory for the production juices and processing of bottled water, production of ice creams and alike. However, they used it to make profit in an illegal manner.
Defense attorney of one of the accused, Ratko Pantović, says that this indictment was raised in contravention to the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code and that there are many inconsistencies in it.
