The Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) announced that starting 20 October, domestic payment processing will also operate on weekends and public holidays.
Transfers up to €1,000 will be possible until 14:30, and those over €1,000 until 15:00 on non-working days.
This change follows recent extensions to weekday processing hours and is part of CBCG’s efforts to modernise the national payment system in line with European standards.
