In the first six months of this year, the Montenegrin Electric Distribution System (CEDIS) generated 5.03 out of 34.94 million euros, which was approved for this year by the Regulatory Agency for Energy and Utilities (REGAGEN), the agency told Pobjeda daily. REGAGEN stated that the prices for the use of the distribution system reflect only the realized amount of investments in the development of the system.
Over the past three years, REGAGEN has given approval to CEDIS for investments worth EUR 92.46 million, that is, 27.73 million euros for 2020, 29.79 million euros for 2021 and 34.94 million euros for this year.
They also state that CEDIS is obliged to submit annual reports on the implementation of planned investments, while they monitor their financial realization.
According to their data, in 2020 CEDIS realized investments worth 32.6 million euros, of which 19.52 million euros refer to the investments envisaged by the 2020 investment plan, while the remaining amount refers to the investment envisaged for the previous years.
The executive director of CEDIS in 2020 was Zoran Djukanovic, while the president of the Board of Directors was Miodrag Canovic.
Since April last year, CEDIS has been run by staff of the Democrats and the DF, led by director Vladimir Cadjenovic and president of the Board, Ranko Radosevic.
