“Also, the board unanimously reached a conclusion where it invites colleagues that are not members of the ruling majority in Cetinje’s parliament to boycott the first upcoming meeting if parliament member Momcilo Moso Martinovic doesn’t apologize for his statement that was full of intolerance and claustrophobia that is not characteristic for Cetinje or its citizens”, it was stated from Pozitivna.
In the statement was also said that the initative for replacement is a result of enormous and unjustified increase of the debt of Cetinje to more than 16 million euros and negative comments by the National audit institution about its operations, inadequate policies of employment, bad condition of the local infrastructure, especially water supplies, because of unacceptable tendency of creating atmosphere of fear, threats by firing to political opponents, but also because of general social and economic situation because of which more and more men and women from Cetinje are leaving its city due to existential concerns.
It’s also stated that “citizens of Cetinje know who SDP didn’t want to join with in 1996, and to whose embrace it ran to only two years later, and that they know who is still longing for that embrace”.
“You cannot cheat citizens of Cetinje twice. Because of everything mentioned, in order to avoid all dilemmas and false rumours by SDP, local board of Pozitivna on Cetinje demands for voting to be held “in package”, for the trust in both of the two most responsible positions in the city, mayor and president of the parliament”, it was said in the statement.
Pozitivna also invites everyone who’s not a part of the ruling regime on Cetinje to boycott the first meeting of the local parliament if an apology doesn’t come from the ruling party because of the aforementioned statement of the local parliament member Martinovic.
