Kotor resident I.K. (36), who was arrested on 31 July on suspicion that during 2024 and in the previous period, he exploited minors for pornography, and that he committed sexual assault against several children under the age of 14, is an assistant coach at the Kotor Basketball Club, reports Pobjeda, referring to several sources.
The club did not want to comment on this case yesterday. The club sports director Vuk Bojat announced that there was no reason for his name or anyone else’s name from the club’s management to be taken as relevant to comment on those allegations.
In an informal conversation with a journalist, Bojat said that I.K. was not an assistant coach at the club, and that “he would only come to trainings as a basketball lover…”
However, according to Pobjeda’s reliable knowledge, the arrested I.K. was, during this action, referred to as the club’s assistant trainer in the oral communication among the officials of the Social Work Center, the police, the prosecutor’s office and the court.
Unofficially, the parents appealed to the club’s management and the police, but the whole case got an epilogue only after the parents of the children addressed the Kotor Social Work Center, which initiated the filing of a criminal complaint.
Police officers searched the apartment and other premises used by I.K.
The electronic devices that the suspect used to collect, store and distribute pornographic content that will be subject to further criminal processing, as well as other objects and things that the named person used to commit criminal acts, were confiscated.
