China invests $3bn in the region

China will provide additional $3bn for the development of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), Chinese prime minister Li Keqiang announced at the Central Eastern European Countries and China (CEEC-China 16+1) Summit in Budapest.

He said that the Chinese Development Bank will provide $2bn and that another $1bn will be provided from the fund within the 16 Plus Mechanism, Tanjug reports.

According to Li, thus the development of cooperation between China and 16 European countries will be further encouraged, allowing further development of these countries.
