The Serbian government is ready to sign a memorandum of understanding with China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) on the construction of its highway from Pozega to the Montenegrin border. The announcement came from Serbia’s vice president, Zorana Mihajlovic, following a meeting with the Chinese ambassador Li Manchang and the president of China Communication Construction Company (CCCC), Du Fei.

With respect to the Montenegrin side, the Exim Bank and CRBC are ready to continue the construction of the remaining sections of the highway through Montenegro immediately after the completion of the priority section. These projects will link Montenegro and Serbia, providing better communication, and easier trading of goods and services.
