By means of the Law on Administrative Fees, the Government proposed the deregulation, reduction of 72 fees. This will save around € 2 million for the taxpayers, at an annual level, said the Minister of Finance, Darko Radunović.
“This is, at the same time, represents reduction of fiscal revenues for the budget”, said Radunović, while adding that high administrative fees and their great number have been serious problem.
Administrative procedures which the companies go through, as well as taxes and fees imposed on the economy and citizens, require special attention.
Abolition and simplification of administrative fees should result in more favorable opportunities and less costs for the citizens.
“It was necessary to consider the feasibility of every administrative fee and the necessity of their abolition”, said the Minister.
Member of DPS, Predrag Sekulić, thinks that 659 administrative fees is the fact that speaks for itself.
“Modern government has to meet the needs of the economy. Everything we do for the economy and small and medium enterprises will bring benefits in the long run”, said Sekulić.
