As previously announced, the price of coffee has gone up in Montenegro. Since two days ago, coffee packs of 100g and 200g have been 10 to 20 cents more expensive in Montenegrin markets (about 20%).
This price increase was announced at the end of June by some owners of companies that sell this product.
The price is dictated by the increase in the price of raw coffee at the world level, the sellers said at the time and assured that they were forced to take that step.
Raw coffee arrives by ship from India, Brazil and Vietnam, and this year, due to the weather conditions, there is a poor harvest there. All of this had an effect on the price of the raw material on the stock market, increasing by almost 100%.
