Commercial Court rejected Agrokor’s requests

The Commercial Court of Montenegro has rejected the Croatian Agrokor concern’s request for recognition of the extraordinary administration, conducted in Agrokor as the main foreign procedure in our country. The court says that it is not in accordance with the provisions of the Montenegrin bankruptcy law.

According to the court’s decision seen by Dnevne Novine, the request to recognise the manager Ante Ramljak as a foreign representative and to ban the launch of new and continuation of initiated court proceedings has also been rejected.

The court has also rejected the requirements regarding the prohibition of force collection and transfer and other disposal of the property of Agrokor and its related and dependent companies.

It has rejected the request for the prohibition of compulsory execution of shares held by Agrokor in companies in Montenegro – Ledo Podgorica and Super Card Podgorica, as well.
