“Higher court in Podgorica decided to deny the complaint in the case of accused for abuse of public service position and Lazar Radjenovic, Dragan Marovic, Aleksandar Ticic, Milenko Medigovic, Novak Klisic and Djordje Pavlovic remained in custody while Goran Bojanic was released to freedom under surveilance”, it was announced from Higher court.
Let us remind you, hearings of witnesses have started in this case at Special prosecutor’s office.
Marko Carevic, owner of construction company “Carinvest“ is the first witness to be heard within the investigation, and hearing will proceed today.
Manager of Budva municipality Milena Marovic-Bogdanovic, chief administrator Snezana Scepanovic and officers Dragica Popovic, Danijela Marotic and Milojka Kovacevic are released to defend themselves from freedom, after the prosecution didn’t request detention for them.
Former president of Budva Rajko Kuljaca received a status of cooperation witness and is released to freedom, and some sources say that he was assigned police protection.
Among suspects is also officer of Budva municipality Miodrag Samardzic, who is on vacation in a neigboring country so he will be questioned upon return.
Prosecution is charging Budvans that they became members of a criminal group that was acting for a long time and that as a criminal organization they damadged city’s buget for more than ten million euros.
