The agreement on cooperation between the government of Montenegro and the Chaco Province opens the possibility for strengthening relations in a number of areas of mutual importance, the minister of foreign affairs Srdjan Darmanovic and the vice governor of the Argentinian province Danijel Kapetanic agreed.
“Implementation of the project Montenegrin House in Roque Saenz Pena, Chaco Province, Argentina, will strengthen relations with the descendants of Montenegrin emigrants,” said Darmanovic and welcomed the holding of the fourth Montenegrin Language School in Argentina, which is planned for the next year in the period from February to July.
Kapetanic expressed his satisfaction with the visit to Montenegro, especially bearing in mind the importance that the descendants of Montenegrin emigrants in Argentina attach to their homeland.
“The government of the Chaco Province remains open to any kind of cooperation with Montenegro,” he said.
During the meeting, the officials discussed internal and external issues concerning the two countries, and the possibility for enhancing economic cooperation, with a focus on agriculture and forestry.
