Coronavirus update: 235 cases and 3 deaths

According to latest data of the Public Health Institute, the coronavirus killed three more people in the last 24 hours, while 235 new cases have been registered. In addition, 191 people beat the virus. There are currently 3.671 active cases, i.e. 583 infections per 100K people.

“Labs of the Public Health Institute pulled 790 samples for PCR testing in the last 24 hours and recorded 235 new cases,” the Institute announced.

New cases are from Nikšić 85, Podgorica 72, Berane 22, Pljevlja 17, Cetinje 8, Bar 6, Kotor 6, Bijelo Polje 5, Budva 3, Ulcinj 3, Rožaje 2, Herceg Novi 2, Plav 1, Žabljak 1, Kolašin 1 and Danilovgrad 1.

“A further three people died after testing positive for Covid-19. They were treated in the Clinical Center of Montenegro and the Berane General Hospital and were from the capital, Podgorica, the town of Rožaje and Mojkovac. The total death toll from Covid-19 from early June now stands at 149, i.e. 158 from the start of the outbreak,” the Institute told.
