The Basic Court in Podgorica issued a judgement according to which ex general director of the public broadcaster RTCG, Rade Vojvodić, was unlawfully dismissed, his attorney Goran Rodić told Dnevne Novine daily.
“As we already announced year and a half ago, the Court adopted the only possible and lawful decision, and that is to overrule the decision on Vojvodić’s dismissal. Creator of this idea suffered the same fate as Branko Vojičić and Rade Vojvodić, both dismissed unlawfully. To be specific, the RTCG Council adopted unlawful decisions upon the initiatives of Goran Đurović, so the public broadcaster will now have to pay a compensation of several thousand euro,” said Rodić.
The RTCG Council, the managing body in charge of the broadcaster, sacked Vojvodić in 2016 and anointed Andrijana Kadija as the new general director of the RTCG.
