Covid-19: Latest figures show 345 new coronavirus cases, 12 deaths

According to the Public Health Institute, Montenegro has recorded another 345 new Covid-19 infections and 12 deaths.

As of yesterday, labs of this institution have pulled 1.510 samples for PCR diagnosis and detected new cases in the following municipalities:

The patients counted in today’s death toll were from Podgorica (5), Nikšić (2), Pljevlja (2), Kotor (1), Herceg Novi (1) and Danilovgrad (1). The oldest patient was 85 years old, whereas the youngest was 56 years old.

Data suggest that there have now been 588 coronavirus-related deaths in MNE from the beginning of June, i.e. 597 since the pandemic started in March.

In addition, 959 people beat the virus.

There are currently 9.454 active cases in Montenegro, that is, 1.500 infections per 100K people.
