“The Montenegrin government has decided that measures in the fight against coronavirus should be adjusted to the situation in the field. Therefore, as of tomorrow, 9 October, the National Digital Covid Certificate will be revoked as a condition for entering shopping malls, business centers and office buildings covering over 1,000m²”, the director of the Public Health Institute Igor Galic has stated at today’s regular press conference.
“The number of newly infected with Covid-19 in the last two weeks (from 23 September to 6 October) has dropped by 40% compared to the two weeks before that period (from 9 September to 22 September). The number of hospitalized on 5 October was about 11% lower than on 9 September. In the last two weeks, the total number of deaths was about 18% lower than the total number of deaths two weeks earlier”, Galic has explained.
Accordingly, the Government has decided that measures to combat coronavirus be adapted to the situation in the field.
