We remind that the Centre for Investigative Reporting in Montenegro (CIN) announced that the Mat Company was indirectly working on the construction of priority section of the highway Bar-Boljare.
However, the CRBC denied the allegations.
“Our company has no information that the Mat Company is engaged in highway construction project. We have learnt these allegations from the media,” the CRBC responded.
The company pointed out that the offer for preparatory works was submitted by the “Montenegropetrol” company, a sister company of “Transpetrol”, which was engaged as a subcontractor, after it had been approved by the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs.
“Given that we are deeply concerned about this issue, we asked the company ‘Montenegropetrol’ to clarify this situation,” the CBRC said in the response.
According to the Central Register of Business Entities of Montenegro, the company “Montenegropetrol” is headquartered in Podgorica, its founder, executive director and authorized representative is Andreja Suskavcevic-Novovic and it is engaged in non-specialised wholesale trade.
