Leader of the Albanian bloc ‘Unanimously’, comprising the Democratic Union of Albanians, DUA, the Democratic Party, DP, and the Democratic Alliance, DS, in Montenegro, Fatmir Đeka, told Dan daily they still haven’t received a formal invitation to negotiate over the new government. He added that they expected it, as it was the usual democratic practice.
Mr Đeka also noted they still believed the best solution would be to have a minority government led by the civic URA movement and the Democrats.
“We still haven’t got any invitation. We think that the future prime minister should have talks with all parties and blocs that have MPs in the parliament. Our future actions depend on the composition of the new government and political dynamics.”
They’ve had talks only with the civic URA movement so far but didn’t want to reveal the details.
Mr Đeka underlined that they would not accept any offer just to be part of the new government: “In our opinion, it’d be best to have a government comprising the minority parties, which would be run by the civic URA movement and the Democrats, that is, the coalitions Black on White and Peace is Our Nation.”
