The Kosovo Parliament has not ratified the demarcation agreement with Montenegro yet. The session was interrupted and will be resumed next week.
The session was initially suspended in order for members of the Foreign Affairs Committee to vote for amendments to the Draft Law on Demarcation for the second time.
Commission chairwoman Vjosa Osmani said that after consultations with the legal office, the vote will be repeated due to an error.
The Draft Law on Amendments includes the agreement concluded between Kosovo and Montenegro in August 2015, an agreement between two presidents, Hashim Thaci and Filip Vujanovic, and all the reporting material of the state commissions for orientation.
As there was no quorum this morning for the agreement to be verified, the head of state and PM, Hashim Thaci and Ramush Haradinaj, tried to convict MPs of the Serb List to support the demarcation agreement. According to media reports, the agreement is likely to get neccessary support next week.
