After their prosecutorial custody expired this morning, they were taken to the investigative judge. After the hearing, judge Novović ruled that they should be put into custody for up to 30 days.
Marovic, Mitrovic, Lazarevic and Radunovic werre arrested two days ago on suspicion that they abused their official position during the sale of state land above Jaz, damaging the budget of the Municipality of Budva for over 1.400.000 euros.
Apart from them, former Mayor of Budva Rajko Kuljača and director of the local auto-moto club, Igor Trnski, were also arrested, but the prosecution in this case granted them the status of a witness collaborator, and they were released.
Lazar Radjenovic, also former Mayor of Budva, is currently in custody on suspicion of abuse of official position in connection to the case, regarding the building of TQ Playa and the Jaz concert plateau.
