Democratic Front requires the Supreme State Prosecutor Ivica Stankovic and the investigation judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica, Miroslav Basovic, to immediately release the NOVA leader’s driver Mihailo Cadjenovic from remand prison, Democratic Front (DF) released.
As stated in the statement sent to CdM, such a decision can stop causing additional pain and suffering of an innocent man.
“We emphasise that any arrest and detention of an innocent man, without any factual and legal grounds, is a crime for which those involved in it will be held responsible. Mihailo Cadjenovic is in prison today solely because distracted and politically bias prosecutor faced logical and legal collapse of the fabricated “coup case”. As he was tasked with getting DF leaders at any cost, then slight associations, speculations, making up and imaginative thinking were used,” DF said.
DF representatives added that “their comrade Nikola Bajcetic was also unjustly imprisoned in Spuz, because of his struggle for freedom and democracy”.
