DF responded to the Agreement on Future: Protests – yes, imposing conditions – no

DF believes that the main task of protests is putting pressure on Milo Đukanović and Duško Marković until they finally resign, They point out that toppling the regime is the prerequisite of any story about technical or any other government and its composition.

Democratic Front supports any form of non-institutional and institutional fight that would result in the fall of this regime and creation of conditions for fair and democratic elections.

“In order for this objective to be achieved, an intense pressure on the regime has to be exerted, particularly bearing in mind Đukanović’s statement that he definitely wouldn’t resign”, said the representatives of DF.

They emphasize the fact that they are the only political alliance that has organized over 150 public gatherings whose main requests were resignations of Milo Đukanović, Duško Marković and heads of judicial system and the formation of technical government.

“Therefore, once again, we express readiness to support the continuation of protests through infrastructure and logistic support. The protests will be focused on making Milo Đukanović and Duško Marković resign. They won’t be aimed at conditioning opposition subjects who have already proven their opposition capacities”, said in the DF .

As they say, in countering DF, the regime is using the power of their entire apparatus, enslaved judicial system, secrets of the police and organized crime.

“However, they didn’t manage to discourage us not even a bit, we will not back down. Criminal regime is supposed to be target of these protests. We believe that there’s no any opposition-oriented citizen in Montenegro today, who is not aware of the fact that „The envelope“ affair was the starting point of protests and that the man who has launched it, the man from the very heart of this regime, triggered the mass gatherings in Montenegro. We strongly support the idea of citizens going to see the “nobody’s house” under Gorica on Saturday, because we want them to see themselves how Đukanović, by classic corruption, managed to build a villa bigger than the Parliament building or Government building”, said the representatives of DF.
