Democratic Front (DF) claims that the cooperative witness in the case of a coup attempt, Sasa Sindjelic, left Montenegro and was seen in Smederevo, Serbia.
At a press conference, DF MP Slaven Radunovic called to mind that there was an Interpol warrant issued against Sindjelic.
“This is a kind of scandal for our country because after he fled Montenegro, he will avoid extradition because of the murder he committed in Croatia. This is evidence that the case was pre-arranged and that Sasa Sindjelic was allowed to escape Montenegro after he finished his job here,” Radunovic said.
The High Court stated that Sasa Sindjelic was not banned from leaving the territory of Montenegro.
“The court will take the measures stipulated by the Code of Criminal Procedure for securing the presence of the aforementioned person,” spokeswoman of the High Court Aida Muzurovic told TVCG.
