Apartments, residential buildings, business premises, yachts, meadows…all of these have been pledged for loans and claims in banks in Montenegro and their worth amounts 2,578 billion EUR, reports the Central Bank.
Value of total loans, including the mortgages, at the end of March of the current year amounts 2,75 billion EUR.
„The Central Bank doesn’t have data about the number of apartments, or houses pledged for loans and claims, but it only has the information about their total value. At the end of 2017, the estimated value of residential real estate pledged for loans and claims is 1,419 billion EUR“, explain the representatives of the Central Bank.
The estimations of the pledged real estate are real, as shown by the regular controls.
