He rejected allegations of some opposition politicians that the ruling elite in Montenegro were aware NATO invitation would not be received by the end of the year.
“It is a speculation aimed at enhancing public confusion and doubts in Montenegro when it comes to this issue important for our future,” Djukanovic said for the public service broadcaster RTCG.
He said that he did not received even a single hint of such an attitude from any important international address, but only positive assessment of progress instead.
As he said, he was aware of affirmative assessments regarding the progress that was supposed to be achieved in order to get the invitation by the end of this year.
