On the sidelines of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), the President of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, had a bilateral meeting with Captains Regent of San Marino Giacomo Simoncini and Francesco Musoni.
The meeting was organized on the initiative of the two, as they wished to re-send the invitation for visiting San Marino, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
President Djukanovic underlined that both Montenegro and San Marino, being the two small and friendly countries with a significant historic and cultural heritage, have numerous potentials for the improvement of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the area of economy and tourism.
In the end, both sides noted that highest level visits represent a good opportunity for the improvement of bilateral cooperation.
