The constitutive session of the Parliament of Montenegro, which will elect a new convocation of Parliament, is to be held on Thursday, 27 July at 12:00 p.m., Parliament has announced. The second item on the agenda is the election of Parliament Speaker, who will allegedly be the Democrats leader Aleksa Becic.
Parliament Speaker from the previous convocation Danijela Djurovic, in accordance with the regulations, convenes the first constitutive session of the newly elected Parliament.
The Center for Civic Education points out that Djurovic has scheduled the session outside the rules of procedure.
“The public should know what motivated Parliament Speaker to (mis)use her position in this way,” CGO states.
