In the case against the head of the Pulmonology Ward of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, doctor Vladimir Jovanovic, due to the criminal offense of serious crimes against human health in connection with the criminal offense of negligent provision of medical aid, a new expert report was requested, namely from the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade.
CdM has learnt that the first expert report stated that the cause of death of patient J.P. could not be determined. Therefore, a criminal complaint was filed and the case was subsequently closed. That is why the expert opinion of the Institute in Belgrade was requested.
The High State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica opened a case against Jovanovic for the criminal offense of serious offense against human health in connection with the criminal offense of negligent provision of medical assistance.
The case is in the investigation phase, according to Lepa Medenica, head of the High State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica.
She added that the Prosecutor’s Office gave an order to the Police Directorate to collect the necessary information from the accused, which in the meantime was delivered to the Prosecutor’s Office and the Prosecutor’s Office questioned him as a suspect. Also, a large number of people were heard as witnesses.
