Petnjica Committee of Bosniak Party (BS) broke up the coalition with the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in that municipality, it was decided at the meeting of the party’s municipal committee on Thursday night.

BS members in Petnjica believe that DPS initiated the termination of the coalition by failing to comply with the first point of the coalition agreement – that the position of Municipal Assembly chairman belongs to BS, said Radio Petnjica’s source.

“The way Adnan Muhovic was dismissed, illegal activities and violation of all legal acts, prompted the BS Petnjica Committee members to urge the president Filip Vujanovic to immediately call for early elections in Petnjica, because it is the only solution when a local government is not functioning,” the source said, adding that DPS Petnjica committee betrayed everything that could be betrayed, including the religion and the nation, for the sake of self-interest. Therefore BS has no reason to cooperate with them.

“We have shown that the things that are in the interest of Bosniaks are above personal interests and this was the only possible solution,” said one of the BS Petnjica Committee.
