Congress of the Democratic Party of Socialists will be held on 23 January next year, DPS spokesman, Mr Miloš Nikolić, posted on Twitter.

At today’s session, presidency of this party decided that the Congress should take place at the end of January due to aggravated epidemic situation.
“Congress will be held online, in 25 locations across the country,” DPS has stated.
In unanimous vote Mr Milutin Simović will be candidate for the president of the Municipality of Nikšić. Presidency also discussed numerous solutions concerning specific structural and staff changes within the party
“DPS remains absolutely committed to defending national and state interests of Montenegro, strengthening its civil character and multi-ethnic democracy, further Europeanization and overall emancipation. The upcoming Congress is an opportunity for establishment and adoption of the contemporary political platform for further activities on all levels,” DPS has stated earlier.
