State bonds are currently the best option for citizens’ savings in our market, given that there aren’t many possibilities for profiting with small amounts earned from saving €1,000, says economic analyst Predrag Drecun. He adds that “it’s better to enter into an arrangement with the state than to entrust money to bankers, because banks always have costs that are not visible”.
Considering that nominal interest rates on savings in banks are in decline, Drecun says this is the least desirable option.
According to him, saving in banks should be eliminated because the rates based on which no more than €21 can be earned for saving €1,000 a year can be considered attractive in no case.
